We are committed to advancing the scientific understanding of natural processes to improve how we work in our streams to improve health and function, reduce risk, and lower the time- and cost-intensive maintenance required to protect people, property, and the environment.
As scientists and engineers, we strive to develop innovative and creative solutions to flood control, recreation (boating, fishing, trails, parks), water quality improvements, open space preservation, and stream and drainageway restoration challenges.
Over years of flood restoration work, we have developed a unique engineering-geomorphology approach founded on a comprehensive understanding of river and watershed processes. We believe restoring stream form and function begins with the solid geomorphic understanding of a project and where it is in the watershed, which then sets the stage for successful analytical evaluations.
