When I can see a constructed project in Google Earth, I can see that I have literally changed the world.
Since Scott was a little boy, he’s always loved riding his bike and designing and building things. Imagine his “aha!” moment, after a few years of working as a bridge engineer, when he realized he could make a career out of designing bike and pedestrian facilities! Scott likes to see his ideas get built. When he can see a constructed project in Google Earth, he can see that he has literally changed the world. It’s especially gratifying to design projects in his own community that he can use with his family, such as the City of Louisville Wayfinding and Trail Improvements or the SH 42 Underpass right by his house. Working on projects where he lives has given him the chance to get to know city staff and public officials and provide input into the planning and development of future projects across the community. Scott is a member of the “20 Project Club” for his work with Wildlands Restoration Volunteers, for completing more than 20 wildlands restoration projects.
