An agile communicator, she makes sure incoming talent is always an asset to the firm. When not working to build relationships among staff, she can be seen hitting the slopes on her skis in the winter, paddle boarding during the warmer months, and is no stranger to a tennis court.
David Sacamano
David Sacamano PLA, LEED AP, is our Planning and Landscape Architecture Leader and is a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest. He has long been drawn to the lands, waters, and weather that make the region so visually appealing and ecologically productive. In his college years, he was hooked by the landscape architecture practice because of the profession’s emphasis on open space planning, placemaking, and design of the public realm.
David is an accomplished, accredited landscape architect and urban design professional with an extensive background in master planning, site design, placemaking, and land development services. In his own words, “My favorite part of my job is working with clients and teaming with partners to solve problems and create sustainable, efficient, and attractive outdoor environments. It is both technically challenging and creatively rewarding, and allows me to blend my passions for building community and healthy natural environments.”
Scott Nettleton
Scott is a Senior Project Manager with Otak’s Transportation division leading the Bridges and Structures group in Vancouver. As a youth, he was interested in building and contracting and considered majoring in architecture. With skills in mathematics and an interest in physics, engineering ultimately was the more natural choice and so he enrolled at Oregon State University. Scott’s favorite Otak projects including bridge design and rehabilitation projects, most recently The Dalles Bridge Deck replacement. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and reading a good book as time allows, preferably with a strong cup of tea.
