My primary interest is in ensuring projects are viewed through a lens of conservation, mitigation and habitat connectivity
With an emphasis on truly limiting the environmental impact of it's projects, Jaimee Cornwell is an environmental scientist at Otak who works to assess and account for those factors.
Jaimee couples a deep interest in conservation, restoration and habitat connectivity with extensive experience in environmental planning. That experience includes the California Department of Transportation and the USDA Forest Service where she also applied a passion for forest management techniques and reducing catastrophic wildfires. Jaimee is also a recipient of a USDA award, recognizing her work dedicated to a study on the effects of salvage logging on woodpecker habitats.
An appreciation for nature and green spaces is an integral component of Jaimee's role in advancing Otak's sustainability goals.
