May, 2026

Giving a firsthand look at new facilities designed to improve services across the community, the City of Bend Public Works Campus hosted an open house to celebrate its completion. The event showcased more than 120,000 square feet of new space that brings together city departments from various locations into a central one for more efficient operations.
Staff from the Bend Department of Public Works took questions while those in attendance toured the expansive warehouses that have updated the way the city stores and maintains their fleets of vehicles. Joined by local leaders and project partners, the occasion also featured food and a variety of activities to truly create a collective community environment.
As owner’s representative on the project, members of the Otak team were on hand to take in the moment.
