UWB/CCC Collocated Campus Phase 1 and 2a Design

Location: Bothell, WA
Client: Washington State Department of General Administration
(subconsultant to NBBJ)

This 120-acre site, the only co-located campus in Washington, enables the University of Washington - Bothell and Cascadia Community College to share infrastructure and campus resources. Phase 1 and Phase 2a design included development of a difficult 130-acre site to accommodate more than 350,000-square-feet of building area, with the multiphase project ultimately scheduled to include one million-square-feet of buildings. Additional infrastructure work included erosion control, stream relocation, landscaping, sewer, and roadway development. Otak managed and implemented these activities while assisting with permitting and planning for this complex, multi-year project.
