Swift BRT Green Line

Location: Snohomish County, WA
Client: Community Transit

Otak is currently leading design, permitting, and construction support for the Green Line, the newly proposed second Swift BRT that includes construction of transit platforms and associated site improvements and installation of custom shelters and amenities at 33 BRT station sites. The $25M project begins at the existing Canyon Park Park-and-Ride on I-405 and extends approximately 12 miles along portions of SR 527, SR 96/132nd Street SE/128th Street SE, 128th Street SW, Airport Road, SR 526, and Seaway Boulevard to a proposed new transit center located on Seaway Boulevard at 75th Street SW across from the Boeing Everett site. The project will also construct roadway improvements at three locations to improve transit reliability and safety in the corridor; including widening improvements for queue bypass lanes. Otak’s effort includes coordination and obtaining site and shelter design approvals from WSDOT, Snohomish County, and the cities of Bothell, Mill Creek, and Everett.
