Unique, Context-driven Designs
Otak’s landscape architects are engaged to tackle a diversity of challenging problems and to develop unique, context-driven designs for a variety of special use areas—sports fields, play areas for all age groups, water play pads, stream corridor boardwalks and overlooks, low impact development facilities and rain gardens, campuses…and the list goes on.
In recent years, we’ve developed a practice area around planning and designing dog parks. Otakians love our dogs, and we love creating places where we can safely and enjoyably interact with them. According to the National Park and Recreation Association, there are over 90 million dogs in the United States, as and our cities grow, open spaces for our pups are becoming scarce. More and more communities are proactively planning for a future that supports our dogs, and dog parks are the fastest growing type of park in America. Our landscape architects are proud to be part of this solution, and we would be pleased to work with you to design a dog park for your neighborhood or community. Give us a call (bark…bark), we are eager to please you!
