Lot 5 at the Yards

This 80-unit affordable housing project represents the last phase of the transit-oriented Yards at Union Station Development. The first floor of the proposed five-story building reflects the historic rail yard and buildings through the use of brick and steel, while the upper levels complement existing redevelopments through the use of flat fiber cement panels. Built on a recovered brownfield site, the project incorporates sustainable elements throughout its studio, one- and two-bedroom units, including flow-through planters, energy-efficient lighting and materials with high recycled content. This project earned a LEED Silver rating.
