When Young was 10 years old, he saw a news report on the dramatic structural failure of the Sangpum Department Store in Seoul, Korea. That sparked his career interest in working on safe infrastructure for his family and community. As an owner’s representative for the Reynolds School District, Young’s experience as an interior builder helps him understand the work process and oversee the detailed quality of the work. His experience of working in several countries enables him to work on a wide variety of projects with a wide variety of clients. He also shoots video and photographs to document his work. Young feels the most satisfied at work when the forecasted work process and schedule match exactly as predicted.
