I believe in the power of collaboration and help our teams work together effectively, through inclusion, courtesy, and respect.
Ever since his obsession with Lincoln Logs as a boy, construction has been a part of Terry’s life. He is drawn to the gratification of building something you can touch and feel, especially if it provides shelter or a comfortable place to work. Terry’s upbeat and eternal optimist personality fits well into Otak's supportive and collaborative culture. He thrives when he can help influence and support individual and team success.
As a serial volunteer, he has chaired cancer events, led children’s reading programs, served as president of the Oregon Sports Authority and Children’s Museum, and lobbied for legislature in Washington, D.C., resulting in $200 million of cancer research funding for the National Institutes of Health. Now he is serving as president of the David Campbell Board of Trustees (a firefighters’ memorial). A resident of Portland, Oregon, Terry is happiest when he is spending time with his wife and two daughters.
