Otak’s robust teams with deep expertise create innovative solutions to complex problems.
Working on rivers runs in Nathan’s family. As a young boy, Nathan began working on boats with his dad, an accomplished hydrographic surveyor. He soon realized he wanted a career in working on streams and rivers. Being able to apply marine mapping to hydraulic studies and stream design is where his passion lies. Nathan enjoys working at Otak because the firm is packed with a deep expertise and multiple disciplines, which allow for innovative solutions to complex problems. He especially enjoys working on diverse stormwater, stream, floodplain, and water rights projects.
Nathan serves as a board member on the Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington and is a Technical Advisory Committee member for the Oregon City Watershed Council. The happiest times in his life are with his family, especially when he is cooking breakfast (bacon and pancakes) with his three amazing daughters.
