I’ve stayed at Otak for 23 years because of the great people and variety of projects we do that contribute to building great communities.
Mike always enjoyed math, and his interest in how things work in the built environment led him to become an engineer. He had some great internships in high school (one at Otak) and college (the City of Lake Oswego and the City of Kirkland) that opened his eyes to the civil engineering world. He has stayed at Otak for 23 years because he enjoys the great, talented people and variety of projects that contribute to building great communities. Managing our Portland office operations as well as the transportation and infrastructure group in Portland, he is also a member of our Green Otak team and executive management team. Mike’s project management and technical work includes a range of multi-disciplinary public and private projects, and he is skilled at presenting project information in public meetings. He participates in the ACE Mentor Program and is vice-chair of the Lake Oswego Transportation Advisory Board.
