Project priorities centered on conservation and restoration is often unlocked by underlying data during the design process
Leveraging data for the purpose of effective watershed management, Maddie McNamee is an engineering designer at Otak.
Maddie facilitates group coordination and collaboration on any project with a data-driven approach. She is knowledgeable in hydrologic data compilation, 1D HEC-RAS and SRH-2D modeling as well as floodplain mapping. Coupled with data organization, manipulation and presentation (particularly in ArcGIS), Maddie adds a clear perspective to the design process. Her experience continues to build on various methods of data collection, data synthesis and experimental documentation. This includes practical use of FlowMaster, CulvertMaster, HY-8, GeoRAS Applications, and HEC-SSP, among others.
