Every day I solve new challenges and take pride in knowing the work I do makes a positive impact on our environment.
While studying civil engineering in college, Kye spent his summers working as a fly-fishing guide and spent significant time around waterways. Because of his passion for fly-fishing, he realized he could apply his education to a career of improving the rivers he had spent so much time on. Kye’s favorite projects while at Otak have been the St. Vrain and Godfrey ditch restoration projects. Outside of work and fly-fishing, he is the Vice President of the Boulder Trout Unlimited chapter called Boulder Flycasters.
