The people at Otak are passionate about designing exceptional projects, making it an exciting place to come to work every day.
Practicing as a landscape architect, Kaitlin chose to work in a multidisciplinary firm so she could interact daily with engineering and architecture professionals to build lasting professional relationships. Kaitlin is happiest when she is engaging with others to find innovative solutions to problems, and Otak is a perfect place to work with those she knows personally to push the boundaries of design. Kaitlin also enjoys the variety of project types that come through the Otak doors. She could be designing a future neighborhood one day, and then helping to plan a future urban trail connection the next day. Kaitlin is an Otak sustainability champion, serving on the Green Otak Practice Committee. She enjoys mentoring students, so she volunteers with the ACE Mentor Program in high schools, with the hope that they may choose a career in the profession. She is also fascinated by vertical gardening and agrihoods, and spends much of her free time learning about these new trends in growing food.
