Otak is small enough to be nimble and strategic, and big enough to have exciting projects and a highly talented group of professionals.
David is responsible for expanding Otak’s transportation offerings, building on a strong reputation for integrating natural and built environments through the planning and design of roads, bridges, pedestrian facilities, and transit. He specializes in leading major public projects where multiple stakeholders have conflicting interests and objectives. He likes to facilitate strategic conversations among agency staff and elected officials. A recent hire, David believes that Otak has the people and the work culture that ensure success in the long run. It is small enough to be nimble and strategic and big enough to have exciting projects and a highly talented group of planners, architects, and engineers. Outside of work, David participates in the Street Trust, an organization that advocates for active transportation and transit solutions to our transportation challenges. He is happiest when he is spending time with his family.
