I value working in an organization with values that match my own. Social and environmental justice are strong driving forces in my life.
When Bill Valliere first started considering career options, he wasn't aware the field of visitor use management existed. After a college course on the subject, it became his passion. Bill would go on to work at the University of Vermont for 24 years and he now continues to build the field he loves as research analyst at Otak.
With a particular interest in parks and protected areas, Bill works to make visitor experiences the best they can possibly be while also preserving the natural elements that define those landscapes. Having helped start the Good News Garage non-profit, he places an emphasis on being a quality team member and improving communities, both of which routinely comes into play on projects.
