Mill Creek Corporate Center (Stormwater Management Plan)

The State of Oregon and the City of Salem are co-developing portions of the Oregon Department of Corrections’ 2,000-acre farm property in southeast Salem to transition the area from its institutional and agricultural character to a new employment, recreation and natural resource district. Otak led the preparation of the master plan, which included land use, stormwater management and infrastructure plans. Among Otak’s continuing work with the City and State is a district specific Stormwater Management Plan, and the permitting and design on-site wetland mitigation and regional stormwater detention in the open space areas. The first phase of Open Space construction will occur in 2011.
