Marysville Stormwater Comprehensive Plan

The City of Marysville hired Otak to assist in updating their Stormwater Comprehensive Plan. The plan addresses existing and future drainage problems, as well as preparations for compliance with the new NPDES II Permit that was issued by the Washington State Department of Ecology. The plan includes inventory and mapping of drainage facilities; development of a city-wide model and estimates of existing and future flows for each drainage basin; formation of an updated capital improvement program; documentation of their existing SWM Program; completion of a regulatory gap analysis; drafting of ordinances describing needed legal authorities; determination of future staffing, equipment and costs; and development of an annualized funding and implementation plan over the next five years.
