Amtrak Survey
Location: OR, WA and MT Amtrak needed to assess and design ADA-compliant access at ten facilities throughout Oregon, Washington and Montana. Otak, as a subconsultant to Jacobs Project Management Co., conducted a land survey to identify and delineate Amtrak’s specific interests at each location, which included parking areas, pathways, platforms, shelters, station buildings and ticket facilities. Otak’s plan depicted the area surveyed and the adjoining properties, rights of way, easements, and boundaries necessary to portray ownership or easement rights of Amtrak and the operating railroad. Otak also completed a topographic survey including rights of way, easements and utilities to depict site conditions for each location. |
