I-5 @ Wilsonville Road Interchange

Otak is the prime consultant on a highly visible project to improve the safety and increase the capacity of the existing diamond interchange at I-5 and Wilsonville Road. Challenges include existing congestion and safety issues, complex geometrics including constrained right of way and substandard vertical clearance, an aggressive schedule, intergovernmental coordination and complex construction staging within a congested urban corridor. The environmental documentation was updated and design completed within the project schedule. Otak is handling roadway and structural design, stormwater management, utilities coordination, urban design, landscape architecture, natural resource evaluation, surveying and oversees traffic engineering and environmental documentation.
