UWB/CCC Collocated Campus Phase 1 and 2a Design

Location: Bothell, WA
Client: Washington State Department of General Administration (subconsultant to NBBJ)

This 120-acre site, the only co-located campus in Washington, enables the University of Washington - Bothell and Cascadia Community College to share campus resources. Phase 1 and Phase 2a design included development of a 130-acre site to accommodate more than 350,000-square-feet of building area, with one million-square-feet anticipated by the end of the project. Amid these buildings, campus officials wanted to create a diverse mix of outdoor spaces. Otak’s landscape architects addressed the design of public spaces, both hardscape and softscape, throughout the campus, as well as upland forest habitat rehabilitation and planting design throughout the campus core.
