Shoreline Interurban Trail

Since the 1980s, this trail has expanded the opportunities for nonmotorized transportation, recreation, and connectivity in the Puget Sound region. Otak prepared a preliminary design report for the entire trail alignment and final design for the north, south and south-central portions. The trail corridor includes a Class I shared-use path and design enhancements such as landscaping, hardscaping, furnishings and interpretation of the adjacent open spaces. By providing a continuous trail network from Seattle to Everett, the trail has become a key enhancement to Shoreline's urban framework.
