This community of single-family paired housing and townhomes is situated on one of the largest privately owned parcels along Lake Washington. All 144 luxury residences face one of three bodies of water and reflect one of four distinct housing styles. Otak was responsible for site planning, civil engineering, bridge and retaining wall design and landscape architecture. The landscape elements included a 1.6-acre open-space with a community plaza, water feature and pond; native buffer planting along more than an acre of Lake Washington shoreline; two acres of stream corridor enhancements; street tree planting; and a quarter-mile trail system. These elements help contribute to the site’s dedication to brownfield redevelopment and eco-friendly ideals.
