SR 202/NE 124th Street Intersection Improvements

The City of Redmond needed to improve traffic flow at the busy intersection of SR 202 and NE 124^th Street. Otak was hired to design road and drainage improvements, which included hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of the water quality, detention and conveyance system. Low impact development measures were incorporated into the design, and Otak also prepared a Biological Assessment and compensatory mitigation plan that included realignment of a Class F stream; fish passage and habitat improvements; and wetland rehabilitation and creation. In addition, Otak provided permit coordination with federal, state, Tribal, county and city agencies.
