ODOT Large Culvert and Fish Passage Project Scoping
Location: OR Numerous large culverts and hydraulic facilities throughout Oregon impede the successful passage of native migratory fish. With the overall objective of replacing or retrofitting these locations, ODOT hired Otak to provide scoping services for 16 of the state’s most at-risk culverts and facilities. Otak scientists acted as environmental representatives during the process, providing baseline information on the full suite of natural resources, plants and animals, wetlands and other sensitive areas and threatened and endangered species. Otak also defined the permitting needs that each of these projects was likely to entail. |
