Otak Handbook Wins APA Award

Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce, January 18, 2012

Otak is being honored by the American Planning Association for “Cool Planning: A Handbook on Local Strategies to Slow Climate Change” for the state of Oregon.

Otak will receive the 2012 national planning excellence award for best practice for the handbook. It describes low-tech, low-cost techniques to help communities reduce their carbon footprints. Otak said communities around Oregon are using the handbook as a planning resource.
