Kitsap bridge is APWA's top project

A project in Kitsap County that shut down Bucklin Hill Road for a year has won state and national Project of the Year awards from the American Public Works Association.

The Bucklin Hill Bridge and Estuary Enhancement project involved building a 240-foot-long bridge near Dyes Inlet to reduce traffic congestion in Silverdale while enhancing the Clear Creek estuary and fish migration.
