While the unofficial groundbreaking took place in July with a barrage of bulldozers and backhoes, last week officially started the next chapter in the Thunderbird Mobile Club, entitled  Brenchley Estates.

Dignitaries from the city, Holland Partner Group, The Carlyle Group, LRS Architects, Otak and the Ash family were on hand to celebrate the official groundbreaking of the new housing development.

The $26 million project will have approximately 360 housing units. Holland officials expect the first apartments will be available for lease next spring.
