OHSU Building Wins International Award

Building Owners and Managers Association International on Thursday announced that Oregon Health & Science University’s Center for Health and Healing building won BOMA International’s The Outstanding Building of the Year award. The OHSU building, in Portland’s South Waterfront District, was honored in the medical office building category.
The 400,000-square-foot office building was completed in 2006. The next year it became the nation’s first medical facility to be certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design platinum. The building is also the first in Oregon to win a TOBY award….
