Otak Principal Wins ITE Award

Dan Dawson earned the Washington Section Institute of Transportation Engineers' award for outstanding service to the community and transportation profession. He is a principal and senior project manager with Otak in Kirkland.

Dawson focuses on transportation design and mobility. He co-authored the Washington State Pedestrian Facilities Guidebook for WSDOT, and contributed to Transportation Research Board publications as well as a Public Rights-of-Way Access Advisory Committee report. He has written for the ITE Journal, and presents technical papers and training sessions at conferences on accessibility and mobility.
